Jameel Diaz
Managing Attorney

Jameel Diaz is a strategic, entrepreneurial attorney with wide-ranging experience in business and law. Known for his practical insight and measured approach, he helps clients navigate complex matters with clarity and care, drawing on his experience of advising on more than $6 billion in corporate and entertainment-related transactions.
Jameel also works closely with individuals and families, bringing together his knowledge of trusts, estates, and finance to design estate plans and implement asset protection, investment, and tax-aware strategies. A careful and effective negotiator, he is equally guided by a genuine commitment to helping clients safeguard what matters most, now and for generations to come.
In 2019, while leading his legal practice, Jameel expanded his professional capabilities by obtaining securities licenses, enabling him to advise both individual and institutional clients on financial and investment matters. He also brings hands-on business experience as an entrepreneur who has launched and managed multiple successful ventures.
Jameel integrates this business and financial background with his legal expertise to help clients develop and execute sophisticated investment and tax strategies, including asset protection, capital allocation, and portfolio diversification. In 2024, Jameel designed and implemented a sophisticated business-wealth structure, positioning a business trust as the owner of a holding company with subordinate Series LLCs, creating a tax-efficient framework while preserving and protecting his client's long-term financial objectives.
Jameel’s work in entertainment is grounded in a long-standing, firsthand understanding of the industry, shaped by early experience in music and years of involvement across its many facets. Over time, he has taken on roles spanning performance, management, writing, and production, giving him a practical perspective on both the creative and business sides of the field.
Not only is Jameel musically inclined, he also works in film and television as an executive producer with multiple projects in development, and a completed film currently in distribution discussions. He brings a steady, solutions-oriented approach to his clients, helping them navigate deal-making, structure opportunities, and move projects forward with confidence. His technical background — including certification as a master engineer in both Pro Tools and Logic — further informs his ability to bridge creative vision with sound business and legal strategy.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Jameel built a strong foundation in the business of law at the Atlanta office of an AmLaw 100 firm. Over five years, he worked across marketing and business development, business intelligence, and transactional support, contributing to due diligence efforts, assisting with deal structuring, and preparing agreements and transaction-related materials. This broad exposure gave him an early, practical understanding of how complex matters are evaluated, negotiated, and executed.
Jameel also served four years in the U.S. Army, where he developed the discipline, leadership, and accountability that continue to shape his professional approach. He brings that same focus and reliability to his legal practice today, working closely with clients to help them achieve their business and strategic objectives.
